Two Vehicle MVA w/Flyout

On September 11, 2008 at 1230 hours the Bay District Volunteers along with Numerous EMS units were dispatched to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Pegg Road for a Auto Accident with undetermined injuries. Engine 32(Sgt. Dean) and Squad 3(Chief 3B Evans) responded quickly with a total of 11 volunteers. Engine 32 and the Squad arrived at 1234 hours advising of one person still in the vehicle and Chief 3B assumed the Pegg Road Command. The crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle and assessing the patient. One vehicle was pushed off the other one so that we could remove the injured person. After a further assessment by the EMS staff it was determined that the patient was going to be flown to a trauma center. Engine 32 handled the Landing Zone and Command was then terminated.
