Vehicle Crash, One Into A Pond

On 12/15/2006 at 0226 hours the Volunteers from Bay District were alerted to in the area of 22020 Chancellors Run Road for the reported Car Crash with Injuries. Engine 92(Lt. Vallandingham) and Squad 3(Capt. Evans) responded with a total of 15 volunteers along the the Fire Chief(Johnson) within seconds of the dispatch. While units were responding communications advised that the SMC Sheriff's Office was on the scene and they had a vehicle into the water but the subject was out. Fire Chief arrived and established the "Chancellors Run Road Command" and advised units that there would be one signed refusal and to hold it with one EMS Unit. Engine 92 and Squad 3 arrived together a minute after Chief Johnson and made sure there were no leaks of fluids and that all occupants were out of the vehicle and then stood by for lighting of the scene while the Sheriff's Office continued their investigation. Units went in service within 30 minutes.
