Early Morning Accident in Front of Walmart

On Sunday December 14, 2014, Company 9 along with Stations 38 and 39 were alerted for a motor vehicle accident on Three Notch Rd in front of Wal-Mart. E-91 (FF. Thomas) arrived and noted two vehicles, one on the roadway, and one on the grass in front of the Wendy’s. Deputy Chief 9 (Marshall) arrived and assumed the Command. E-91 (FF. Thomas) determined that two additional ambulances and the medic unit were needed, which brought A-399, A-798 and Medic 5. E-91 also deployed a hand line and Combi-tool to perform a door pop on the minivan.
A total of five patients were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, priority 3 with no life threatening injuries.
Three Notch Rd southbound was closed for over an hour due to this incident.
