Heavy Rescue takes in Early Morning Job

On March 31st, 2013 Station 3 was alerted to a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries on Willows Road, approximately one mile in from Point Lookout Road. Squad 3 (Mahaffey) marked up moments after dispatch with 4 personnel. Squad 3 arrived to find a single vehicle off the road and into a tree with one person trapped. The crew from Squad 3 quickly stabilized the vehicle and began extrication. At that time Engine 32 (Sgt. Sprouse) marked up with three personnel. After approximately ten minutes the patient was extricated. Engine 32 handled the Landing Zone at The Green Door. Crews operated on the scene for just under an hour.
