Company 3 Runs One Pinned In The First Due

At 07:55 Monday morning Stations 3, 9, EMS Stations 38, 39 and ALS (Advanced Life Support Unit) was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with one trapped in front of Station 39, 21633 Great Mills Rd. Engine 32 (Capt. Fairfax) responded at 07:57 with a crew of four and Squad 3 (FF Vanness) responded with a crew of four at 07:58. Engine 32 arrived on scene at 07:58 and confirmed one pinned and began stabilizing the vehicle. Squad 3 arrived at 0800 began extricating the patient. Aviation was requested due to the patient's condition, but it was not available due weather conditions. Extraction was completed at 08:19. Patient was transported by Ambulance 399 to PG Hospital Center. Ambulance 389 also transported one patient to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital. Units returned at 0914.
