Large Brush/Woods Fire in Leonardtown

On Thursday July 12 at 16:05 hours Leonardtown VFD was dispatched for a brush/woods fire. Brush 1, Engine 11 and Chief1 arrived to find a large field and woods fire. Chief 1 requested additional Brush units and Tankers bringing Brush 3 and 9 along with Engine 93. Utility 9 responded also with extra man power. Utility 3 then responded with Gator 3 in tow. Units from Bay District worked on scene for just under 5 hours.

Units: Brush 3 & Brush 9, Engine 93, Utility 3 with Gator 3 & Utility 9
Mutual Aid: All St. Mary's Stations, Pax River 13, Charles Stations 2, 5, 10, 14, Calvert Stations 3, 7, 2, Forestry, Trooper 2, EMS 19 & 38
