Benefit to help support Deputy Shaun Carberry after his accident

Location: Route 5 South in Callaway
POC:
Start Date: Friday, December 16, 2016
Duration 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

On Dec 7, 2016 Deputy Shaun Carberry, of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, a devoted police officer, husband, and father of five children, was struck by a drunk driver while assisting a motorist. Deputy Carberry pushed the motorist to safety, in doing so; Deputy Carberry left himself in the path of the intoxicated driver resulting in injury to himself. For those that don't know Shaun, he was an EMT with the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue squad for several years in 2000 and unfortunately had to give up running due to family and work commitments. No time is a good time for an accident, The "Fun Bunch" will be hosting a benefit Quarter Auction/Brown bag Auction next Friday evening December 16th at Route 5 South in Callaway. Doors open 2pm. The Brown bag drawing will be at 8:30pm and you don't have to be present to win. The Quarter Auction will start at 6:30pm and you have to be there to play. They will also have venders set up so you can do some Christmas shopping for yourself while you are there. They are also going to be doing a $500.00 cash raffle that will be drawn at the end of the auction.
